Proper oral healthcare early in life, as well as positive experiences at the dentist, are the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles. At Copper Hills Dental, we love seeing the smiling faces of kids around our office and enjoy showing them how to care for their teeth. Our friendly and gentle staff will ensure that your children have a fun and educational experience every time they come to our Safford dentist office.
Pediatric Dental Visit
We want to help your children begin good oral hygiene habits that will last them a lifetime, and that all starts with the quality pediatric dental care Drs. Skinner and Farr offer. Whether your child’s first tooth is erupting or your teen needs a cleaning, we can give him or her the care needed to get a happy, healthy smile.

Pediatric appointments include:
For teens whose wisdom teeth have begun to come in or are causing pain, we also offer wisdom teeth extraction. Wisdom teeth are a third set of molars that often begin to erupt in late teen years. Because there typically isn’t enough room for these new teeth, they can cause crowding of other teeth or even become impacted and infected. Removal of wisdom teeth protects your teen’s healthy teeth from potentially extensive and painful damage. If your teen needs his or her wisdom teeth removed, we offer relaxing sedation to keep him or her comfortable while we work.Contact Us Today
At-Home Dental Care for Kids
Regular dental visits just aren’t enough to keep your child’s teeth and gums healthy. Sugars and acids are common in the foods children eat, and they can lead to decay and damage. Proper at-home care is vital to ensuring that your child’s mouth stays healthy between dental visits.
Be sure to brush your child’s teeth with a soft head toothbrush twice daily using a small amount of toothpaste. For infants and babies, we recommend that you use your finger and a small smear of toothpaste to keep the gums and any erupting teeth clear of bacteria. Once your child is old enough to brush his or her teeth alone, we recommend that you continue to monitor the brushing until Drs. Skinner or Farr sees that your child has the proper technique down. And don’t forget to floss!Contact Us Today
